Catch you up on my Left Foot

Soooooo, I had my left foot done June 19th. And boy was it much different than my right foot. The pain was a little more intense. It was a 5 or 6 on a scale of 1 to 10. I took my meds and stayed sleep to escape the pain. I went to my 1 week check up appiontment. I told my Dr. that the pain was much different this time around. So we went and took x-rays and discovered that my 2nd and 3rd toe had slipped off the anchor that hold the bones together - _ - 
Well my Dr. numbed my foot in an attempt to PUSH my toes back on the metal anchor. Ummm, can you say, "painfull.. He was able to get the 3rd toe back on but the 2nd toe was acting stuborn. He said it slipped on some but not all the way. So he tried a few more times, wrapped my foot and said make an appointment for Monday. He also said that if my toe doesn't look right to him, that I will have to get surgery again on Wednesday. OMG.. WHY ME?  Well look at the x-ray picture to see how much my toes came off the anchor.
I will do an  update on Monday.

Catch up on toes

It's been awhile since I last posted an update. I have been trying to figure out how to post pictures to my blog. I think I have it now. Well my bandages were taken off a week after my surgery. I didn't experience that much pain. My pain was a 3 or 4 on a scale of 1 to 10. I Tried to stay off my feet as much as possible. My foot was a little discolored.  I'm going to post pictures of my x-rays and unbadaged foot.

Toes, Toes, Toes

Well I went to the Dr.'s on a Monday April 29th and walked out with an appointment to have hammer toe surgery on May 1st, two days later. I had the surgery, which wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I had my right foot done first. I was sent home bandaged up but with no pain at all. The next few days were pain free aswell. But I still took my pain meds. Well HELLO Sunday morning at 1:30... PAIN.. PAIN... PAIN... OMG.. A burning sensation that I haven't felt ever. I took my pain pills and it helped a little. But after that night everything has been smooth sailing so far. It's now 13 days after surgery and I'm still keeping my foot elevated over my heart and icing. My next Dr.'s appt is May 29th. I can't wait to see my toes.
